The TEA designation process ensures that a campus can support and sustain the ECHS model with fidelity. The Texas Early College High School: Countdown to Opening document outlines questions to consider prior to opening an ECHS and provides recommendations for implementation. The following video series is designed to provide guidance in the ECHS planning process.

This document outlines the process for earning and maintaining ECHS designation in Texas. It segments the process into six "benchmarks," and describes the documentation and data required to respond to each benchmark.
